Every farm needs specific machines that will help increase yields by performing many basic care procedures. Many of these procedures cannot be carried out as effectively without the use of specialized agricultural equipment. That is why we have prepared a list of the best agricultural machines that every farmer should have on his farm.

Cultivation aggregate

Nowadays, they are the most popular tilling sets, because these are universal machines. Namely, they can perform many functions of other agricultural machines, such as cultivators or disc harrows. Their task is to loosen, grind, level the ground and even sow seed (if a seeder is attached to a given model of the unit). Tillage units may consist of toothed discs or paws for breaking the topsoil.

The effective tillage units include machines from the manufacturer AMJ AGRO:

Disc harrow

Disc harrows called disc plows have effectively replaced plows due to their action of loosening, crushing and mixing the soil. Their design allows for both accurate turning and crushing of lumps, which was not so effective in the case of plows. Apart from that disc harrows they also help to plow stubble and mix manure or lime with the soil layer. Farmers value them, among other things, because they do not require high tractor power and do not clog during operation.

Seeder

Without seeder work on large farms would be tedious. Can you imagine manually sowing crops in a field with an area of several to several dozen hectares? Of course not. That is why machines were created in which the seed is scattered using an air stream generated by a blower. Such pneumatic seeders allow you to spread seeds at a specific distance, even up to several meters. It is also worth noting that they can work closely with other agricultural machines, e.g. be attached to tillage units.

Cultivator

Cultivators These are machines belonging to the old classic solutions for preparing the soil for cultivation. Simply put, they are tools consisting of an arm on which the teeth are placed. They are designed to be attached or hung on a tractor, setting them in motion. The cultivator perfectly complements tillage procedures to prepare the soil to accept seeds. Today, however, to reduce the number of passes of large agricultural machines in the field, tillage units are used instead of cultivators.

Plow

Once plows occupied the highest position in the ranking of agricultural machines. Now they are replaced by disc harrows, which perform almost the same activities, i.e. mix, turn and crush the outer layer of soil in the field. Despite this, the plow is still an important tool for farmers who value traditional solutions. It is used to make the soil ready for sowing new plants, it helps to cut out potholes and interrupts capillaries to reduce the evaporation of water from the soil. So why disc harrow was it ranked higher? Among other things, this is because the plow, when turning the soil, cannot break up and crumble clods as well as a disc plow.
