The PORTO 250 no-till cultivator is a robust machine for shallow and deep cultivation. Equipped with eight Delta Flex tines with NON-STOP hydraulic protection and six 460 mm disc harrows, it features standard hydraulic depth and pressure adjustment, as well as maintenance-free hubs. Its high-grade steel construction is powder-coated. The machine weighs approximately 1400 kg and requires a tractor with at least 125 HP. Ideal for intensive loosening and mixing of crop residue.

Why PORTO 250 instead of a plow?

One trip instead of three

Loosens, mixes crop residue, and tills the soil in a single pass. Less fuel and hours than a plow cycle.

Work without downtime

Teeth with NON-STOP hydraulic protection – when encountering an obstacle, they deflect and return to the set depth.

Settings from the cabin

The pressure force, tine working depth and roller pressure are hydraulically adjustable – without getting out of the tractor when the soil mosaic changes.

Shallow and deep tillage without a plow

How does the 2.5m no-tillage cultivator work?

A robust agricultural machine designed for shallow and deep tillage without the use of a plow. It is used for intensive soil loosening and precise mixing of crop residues.

From the tractor cab, the operator can smoothly adjust the downforce and working depth of the tines and rear roller, which significantly facilitates work on varied soil conditions.

This is an ideal solution for farmers who want to move away from traditional plowing, saving time, fuel and protecting the soil from drying out.

NON-STOP hydraulic protection

The heart of the PORTO model, designed for work in rocky conditions. The working element smoothly deflects upon encountering an obstacle and immediately returns to the set depth. Operation is continuous, and the frame is protected against overload.

The PORTO 300 no-tillage unit in the basic version

DELTA FLEX legs, optional HORSCH

The standard DELTA FLEX legs intensively mix crop residues with the soil to a depth of up to 30 cm. The optional HORSCH leg section allows for more aggressive cultivation and deep loosening, eliminating the plow pan and improving the soil's air-water structure.

Leveling disc section (460mm)

Behind the tine section is a row of 460 mm diameter discs mounted on rubber shock absorbers. Their function is to precisely level the field surface and thoroughly mix the organic matter. The shock absorbers protect the discs from damage and ensure perfect ground contouring even at high working speeds.

Hydraulic shaft adjustment

The hydraulic system ensures convenient and precise control of the unit's working depth. The operator can instantly adjust the roller pressure and tine depth directly from the tractor cab, which is crucial when soil conditions vary within a single field.

Maintenance-free steel hub

The leveling discs are equipped with high-quality, maintenance-free steel hubs. The hermetic seal eliminates the need for lubrication, significantly reducing operating costs and machine readiness time. The use of steel in the hub construction guarantees their resistance to impacts and cracks.

Carbide chisels

For the most demanding users, we've prepared the option of carbide-reinforced chisels (mounted with two screws). This technology significantly increases the abrasion resistance of the cutting elements, allowing for consistent working depth and high-quality tillage for a much longer period than with standard components.

FAQ

PORTO 250 no-till cultivator – questions and answers

What is the PORTO 250 no-till unit and what is its use?2026-07-18T15:02:27+02:00

The PORTO 250 is an agricultural machine created by Polish manufacturer AMJ AGRO, designed for loosening and cultivating soil without the need to turn the furrow (without using a plow). It is ideal for both shallow tillage (e.g., stubble cultivation) and deep tillage, effectively mixing crop residues with the soil.

What is the minimum tractor power requirement for this model?2026-07-18T15:03:24+02:00

Due to its design and resistance, the PORTO 250 unit requires a tractor with a minimum power of 125 HP. Ultimate requirements may be higher depending on the weight of the selected tillage roller and the characteristics of the soil being cultivated in a given field.

What is the working width and capacity of the machine?2026-05-27T18:28:29+02:00

The working width of this model is 2,5 meters. At an assumed average operating speed of 10 km/h, the unit can cultivate approximately 2,5 hectares of field in one hour.

At what depth does the PORTO 250 unit work?2026-07-18T14:58:47+02:00

The machine is designed to enable deep loosening of the soil (up to 30 cm), which helps eliminate harmful plough pans and improve water retention, or to perform shallower surface work (10-15 cm) while retaining moisture.

How is the machine protected against damage?2026-08-13T14:36:09+02:00

The heart of the PORTO model is the innovative NON-STOP hydraulic safety device on each of the eight working tines. This feature allows the tine to smoothly deflect upon encountering an obstacle (e.g., a large rock) and then automatically and instantly return to the correct depth. This protects the machine from overload and eliminates downtime.

What loosening elements does the machine have?2026-05-27T18:29:25+02:00

In its standard configuration, the unit has eight legs equipped with DELTA FLEX tines, which perfectly mix organic matter with soil. Optionally, narrow working elements or HORSCH tines can be used for even more aggressive cultivation.

What are leveling plates for and how are they constructed?2026-08-14T12:25:10+02:00

Behind the row of tines is a section of six 460 mm diameter discs. Their function is to thoroughly mix organic residue and precisely level the loosened soil before the tillage roller. They are mounted on rubber shock absorbers, protecting them from damage during high-speed driving.

How much does the PORTO 250 no-tillage unit weigh?2026-07-18T14:58:52+02:00

The basic weight of the machine starts at approximately 1180 kg (with string roller) and 1250 kg (with classic tubular roller). However, this weight increases depending on the selected final roller, reaching up to 1670 kg (when using the heavy 550 mm Crosskill roller).

How often do I need to lubricate individual operating components?2026-08-13T14:36:38+02:00

Maintenance on the PORTO 250 has been minimized for the farmer's convenience. For example, the disc harrows feature high-quality, maintenance-free steel hubs with a hermetic seal. This eliminates daily greasing, saving time, and lowering service costs.

How do you set the optimal working depth in PORTO 250?2026-07-18T14:58:56+02:00

The manufacturer has equipped this unit with a convenient hydraulic system. From the tractor cab, the operator can quickly adjust the downforce and adjust the working depth of the tines and roller. This is an invaluable convenience in fields with varied soil mosaics.

Which rear compaction roller should I choose for my unit?2026-05-27T18:31:19+02:00

The basic version is equipped with a tubular roller, which performs well in light soils. If your soil is compact or lumpy, you can configure your unit and choose from several custom options, such as a T-bar roller, a roof roller, a heavy-duty Packer roller, a Kraker disc roller, or a tandem U-RING.

Does the machine wear out quickly and how can I extend the life of the cutting elements?2026-05-27T18:32:35+02:00

Like any machine working with soil, chisels eventually wear out (typically, replacement occurs after 150-300 hectares per set, depending on the soil). To significantly extend their life, AMJ AGRO offers special carbide-reinforced chisels (mounted with two screws) as optional extras, which are characterized by much higher friction resistance.

What are the main benefits of replacing your plow with the PORTO 250?2026-08-13T14:36:16+02:00

Switching to a ploughless system with AMJ AGRO reduces soil erosion, promotes water storage, and protects the soil from drying out by leaving a layer of straw "mulch." Above all, however, this method combines multiple stages—from tillage to seedbed preparation—in a single pass, saving farmers time and significantly reducing fuel consumption.
